Steam Room opened its first outlet in Sunway Giza Mall, Kota Damansara, in May 2011, followed quickly by two more outlets – in VIVA Home Mall and 1Mont Kiara – all within six months. In less than a year, all Steam Room restaurants have already established itself as a dining destination for its unique brand of Oriental comfort cooking. With each restaurant seeing a steady stream of regular customers already, every single Steam Room restaurant serves an average of 7500 diners monthly, demonstrating the strong market acceptance to Steam Room’s healthy yet delicious cuisine concept.
Steam Room restaurants are wholly-owned and managed by Max Wisdom Sdn Bhd. Incorporated on November 2010, Max Wisdom Sdn Bhd is primarily setup to conceptualize and manage F&B businesses and is led by a management team, consisting of trained and experienced F&B owners and professionals.
With its commercially-proven concept and scalable business model, Max Wisdom is now on an expansion path to increase the number of Steam Room outlets, from three restaurants to seven restaurants by 2013.
